ABOUT ANXIETY RESOURCE CENTER

STAFF INTRODUCTION

ARC’s co-founders are energized, creative, skilled, and passionate about educating and empowering people. In addition to founding ARC, Dr. Katy Fielder and Dr. Laura Huser are Affiliated Clinical Faculty with University of Arizona College of Medicine, Phoenix Campus, and Creighton University School of Medicine, where they provide mental health training and clinical services to students. They are also Affiliated Clinical Faculty with Arizona State University, Department of counseling and Counseling Psychology, where they supervise Master and Doctoral students in training. In 2001, after becoming licensed psychologists, the co-founders opened their practices and started designing professional experiences that would eventually lead them to establish Anxiety Resource Center, LLC.

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of both Dr. Fielder and Dr. Huser, the individual will perform a variety of administrative duties in support of Anxiety Resource Center, LLC and the psychologists’ individual therapy practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Represent ARC with professionalism in every interaction, taking ownership and pride in both daily activities and long term success
  • Organize and manage the day to day activities of the office to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Greet office visitors; initiate and answer phone calls; screen and direct calls and visitors to appropriate staff members; take messages; provide correct information; receive, sort and route mail
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to all inquiries regarding therapy, coaching, and educational programming
  • Communicate with members of the public to increase awareness of the mission and activities of ARC through social media
  • Assist with travel accommodations; prepare itineraries for conferences, workshops, and meetings as necessary
  • Research, implement, and monitor administrative requirements for ARC projects and programs
  • Assist in the planning of aforementioned special events and coordinate logistical arrangements
  • Prepare and review routine correspondence, records and other documents for accuracy
  • May edit and update training manuals, workbooks, and other educational materials on behalf of Dr. Fielder & Dr. Huser
  • Prepare agenda items for meetings as required; may take and transcribe minutes and distribute to appropriate personnel; attend and maintain records of meetings as required
  • Establish and maintain a variety of confidential records, logs, and files ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Maintain both electronic and hard copy filing systems
  • Protect clients’ confidentiality and personal rights at all times
  • Responsible for bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Order and maintain office supplies; schedule maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Maintain office reception area to be in presentable order at all times
  • Plan work flow and work cooperatively with supervisors to determine work priorities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Appropriate high level administrative experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred

PAY, BENEFITS, AND WORK SCHEDULE

  • Salary starting at $33,000
  • Monday –Thursday 8am-5pm
  • Renewable year to year upon annual performance review
